Listeners Feedback

I have received your letter and I am very happy that you have communicated to me. You are the first people who have ever written a letter to me. In my life when I didn't even know the word Christian, I have never had a letter, not even from my family or my parents.

Bali back on air !

FEBC New Zealand is very grateful to announce that Heartline FM Bali is back on air after three months of down time. For unexplained reasons the license was withheld and broadcasts halted by local authorities.

Thankfully, many friends like you prayed and the staff there negotiated graciously with the powers that be, and have just restored the signal and returned the whole station to air.

Thanks to all who supported during this phase.

Mongolia's first generation church grows

(posted 25 January 2012)

We’re extremely grateful to all who gave gifts recently for Mongolia’s special Christmas broadcasting of “Who is Jesus.” You gave generously and now that the Christmas message has gone out the work of following up enquiries and distributing radios and Bibles continues. On behalf of those who listened, and especially those who responded - thank you.

The growth of the Christian Church in this land-locked country of 2.6 million is not unlike the growth of the early Church, and in a nomadic country like Mongolia, radio is remarkably efficient at reaching people with the Good News.

Sixty thousand now follow Jesus, and new churches are springing up, established by listeners eager to learn more about the Bible and God’s gift of salvation.  FEBC is grateful to be at the forefront of bringing people to Christ and mentoring new Christians, like Ulziidelger, a 42-year-old woman who wrote the following letter:

“Not too long ago I heard the Good News on the radio for the first time.  I’d never before heard anything about God.  I’m so thankful for those who share the Good News.

Kiwis helped during Thailand floods

(posted 25 January 2012)

thai-floodhelp2-web-11112011 seemed to be a series of earthquakes, tsunamis, floods & typhoons. Yet in the midst of these difficulties radio plays a tremendous part. Thanks to your donations FEBC New Zealand contributed to the Thailand flood relief with portable radios (and inflatable boats).

FEBC Thai staff gave out the radios and broadcast programmes that informed, comforted, counselled and encouraged. Numerous testimonies have been heard of people experiencing the love of God and turning to Him in their need. Thank you for giving.

Saipan keys handed over - end of an era for FEBC

(posted 25 January 2012)

FEBC’s era on Saipan has officially come to a close as the keys were handed over to the Department of Public Lands on January 3rd 2012. Thanks to all who followed God’s promptings and supported broadcasts from this Marianas archipelago for over 30 years. New Zealand’s own Irene & Owen Gabbie served on Saipan for 17 of those years.
