Voice of Friendship is a member of the Far East Broadcasting radio network (FEB)
Founded over 60 years ago, FEB now uses radio and the internet to reach people with the gospel and build up the church of Jesus Christ. This broadcasting ministry reaches into many places, where traditional missionary outreach is impossible because of national, political, religious or geographical barriers.
FEB broadcasts over 600 hours daily to a potential audience of over 3.2 billion people in 160 languages.
Programme
* encourage the persecuted and marginalized
* teach life and work skills
* provide information on such things as agriculture, health care, bussiness development etc
* provide leadership training
* provide lanaguage and education assistance
* share Christian teaching
FEB also operates rapid response studios, which broadcast emergency information such as health warnings and surivial advice in disaster situations.
FEB is non-political and non-commercial relying entirely on donations and bequests for its operating funds.
The broadcasts are able to overcome many difficulties faced by
conventional missionary outreach such as difficult terrian, border
restrictions, or opposition from local authorities.
