Listeners Feedback

I am writing this letter to reciprocate the grace I received through FEBC, the sound of the Gospel. FEBC-Jeju raised me up to reach the salvation of God. Every day I listen to many pastors' sermons and new hymns, all so full of grace. When Sunday comes, FEBC brings my heart back to North Korea. As one who experienced life in North Korea, I turn off all the lights, cover myself with a blanket, hold the radio in my arms, and pray in tears. I pray over and over for the brothers and sisters of North Korea and the beautiful mountains and streams they live in. We have many FEBC listeners in my church. I bought a solid-state radio for one of my elderly friends and taught him how to use it and tuned it to FEBC. These days he tells me how happy he is in the love of God. I appreciate all the pastors and staff who work for FEBC. Thank you so much!

Radio missions

For 65 years, radio has proven to be an excellent way to reach people in almost any location or circumstance. FEBC utilizes high power AM, FM and shortwave transmitters to deliver community development, evangelistic, and discipleship programming to some of the most remote and needy areas of the world, as well as dense population centers.

When new technologies emerge that show promise at reaching specific people groups or large numbers of people, we adapt our strategies and adopt the media, such as internet and satellite broadcasting, podcasting, MP3 players and, most recently, cell phones/memory cards/ speaker boxes to reach listeners, especially those living in restricted countries.

FEBC exists to communicate Christ to the World by Radio. This is done in a multitude of ways:

The joy and hope of knowing God in Jesus Christ is shared through biblical teaching programmes;

the comfort and encouragement of God’s promised presence and rescue is announced to persecuted people and churches everywhere;

the mercy of God is broadcast in programmes promoting basic human rights and challenging abuses;

the life of God is promoted in developmental programmes discussing subjects like family life & relationships, work skills and business development, HIV/Aids, pregnancy issues, joblessness, poverty & financial wisdom, agricultural advice, and many others; and, emergency first response radio stations are established in crisis zones to provide help in times of disaster like tsunamis, earthquakes, famine, displacement and war.
